A look back at my goals!


1. Visit Paris (Went in September - that's me along the Seine with the
Eiffel Tower in the background)
2. Cook more often - Success! Got subscription to Cooking Light and tried at least 2 new recipes a month - until it got too hot recently.
3. Take a cooking class - No
4. Knit a sweater - Don't make me laugh! Started one for me and a baby sweater - neither finished
5. Take an knitting class - Yes...total waste of money...had to rip out my sweater...it's still in the back of the craft closet.
6. Make a budget - Yes
7. Relax more often - Still working on that one...
8. Stick to the budget - Um...pass...
9. Write letters (real ones)- Ditto....
10. Indulge in a massage everyone once and awhile - Can you beleive I still haven't done this?
11. Eat more veggies - Could be better...
12. Try to not to be a control freak - This one varies depending on who you talk too...
13. Hike more - Sadly no, but the summers not over!
14. Go on picnics in the summer - Ditto..
15. Learn to kayak - This is for after I finish Danskin!
16. Put money into my IRA - Pass....
17. Understand my IRA - Ditto....
18. Read my
Jane Austen books - Started Persuassion
19. Use my yoga mat for yoga - So funny! What the hell was I thinking when I wrote this one?
20. Run a 5K - YES! Race for a Cure in May
21. Save more money - YES!
22. Knit down the stash - Honestly....not really...
23. Knit hats for a good cause - Have knit one for homeless teens in Seattle and have yarn for more!

24. Explore my new state - YES! Have been to Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helen's Sequim, Vashon, Bainbridge and a few others
25. Start my book - Ugh...no but am inspired daily...
26. Do more freelance writing - Oddly, no
27. Join a writing group - No...perhaps this is the reasons for nos on 25 & 26...
28. Exercise more - YES! I am doing the Danskin mini-tri next month!
29. Learn French - Un petite, oui!
30. Be more spontaneous - Still working on that one!
